SET UP A FEW FONDUES, A CHEESE FONDUE, MEAT FONDUE AND A CHOCOLATE FONDUE,
HERE IS A CHEESE FONDUEIngredients
1 cup dry white wine 1/2 pound shredded Swiss cheese 1/2 pound shredded Gruyere cheese 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg 1 (1 pound) loaf French bread, cut into 1 inch cubes Directions
Simmer wine in fondue pot. Add Swiss cheese, Gruyere cheese, 1/4 pound at a time. Stir after each addition of cheese until melted. Stir in flour. When all the cheese has melted, stir in salt and nutmeg. Serve with cut-up French bread.
2 cups milk chocolate chips 6 tablespoons heavy cream ( if too thick add more) 2 tablespoons of your favorite liquor, I use Amaretto. 1 tablespoon strong brewed coffee (may be omitted) 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon Directions
Combine chocolate, cream, liqour, coffee and cinnamon in a fondue pot over a low flame (or in a saucepan over low heat). Heat until melted, stirring occasionally. Serve at once with a bunch of strawberries.
This recipe can be doubled and you probably will need to.
